At my church I was called as Enrichment Counselor a few years back. I organized a crocheting group to do a service project called Warm Up America. Well I ended up being the only person who attended along with some older ladies that worked at our temple. It ended up being a positive experience for me because a. I learned how to crochet and b. I got to talk with these fine ladies and that was a pleasure. Here is the quilt we made for the service project.
When we moved to Indianapolis I knew eventually we would have a baby so I decided to make a crocheted blanket by making a lot of crocheted squares.
Here is what I came up with. My husband said it looks like a boy blanket. Well lucky for us I had a boy.
